We are currently seeking an Experienced Working Kitchen Manager to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is pivotal in overseeing daily kitchen operations within our multiple restaurant locations. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing high-volume food preparation and maintaining rigorous food safety standards. This position requires leadership by example, including supervising kitchen staff, ensuring compliance with ServSafe guidelines, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen. The role demands the ability to work evening shifts, including nights and weekends, with a competitive pay starting from $18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. The Working Kitchen Manager will report directly to the Head Chef and be instrumental in training personnel, inventory management, and enhancing overall kitchen efficiency. ServSafe certification is preferred or willingness to obtain it is essential. Since we operate multiple restaurants, this role may involve supporting several locations as needed, providing variety and broad experience in restaurant management.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Valid ServSafe certification or willingness to become certified
  • Ability to commute to Roanoke, IN 46783
  • Willingness to relocate before starting work if necessary
  • Ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Must be punctual and reliable

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Proven experience in kitchen management or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Culinary skills including knife techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
  • Willingness to obtain ServSafe certification if not already certified
