Job Requirements

  • qualified for work-study funds from Financial Aid
  • enrolled as a FRCC student with minimum 6 credits
  • able to work up to 20 hours per week
  • capable of maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • good communication skills
  • friendly and approachable demeanor
  • able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • basic math skills

Job Qualifications

  • must be a FRCC student enrolled in at least 6 credits for the current semester
  • applicants must qualify for work-study funds from Financial Aid
  • prior experience as a baker, barista, or porter is not necessary
  • able to maintain high quality standards
  • possess good communication and interpersonal skills
  • coachable and eager to learn
  • positive attitude
  • able to handle basic math
  • knowledge of coffee and pastries is helpful

Job Duties

  • weigh and measure ingredients for production
  • assist in baking products and package products for sale
  • maintain an organized kitchen and food preparation area
  • interact with customers using superior communication skills
  • master the Point of Sale system to receive orders and payments from customers and make correct change
  • prepare items including craft coffee drinks
  • ensure customer happiness
  • remove trash and recyclables
  • ensure equipment and utensils are clean and sanitized
  • uphold cleanliness and sanitation protocols
