Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- currently enrolled as a student at Emily Griffith Technical College with eligibility for Work Study employment
- reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to stand, lift, and carry items up to 40 pounds
- willingness to follow directions and work collaboratively with culinary staff and students
- effectively handle multiple demands and competing deadlines
- basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation preferred
- live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado
- ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position

Job Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment by hand or using commercial dishwashing machines
- maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, sinks, floors, and general kitchen areas
- sort, stack, and store clean dishes and equipment in appropriate locations
- dispose of trash and recycling according to cafe procedures and sanitation standards
- follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines set by the Health Department and Culinary Program
- assist with basic kitchen prep or other duties as assigned by the Cafe Manager or Chef Instructor
- ensure timely restocking of clean items to support smooth cafe operations
- communicate any equipment issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor
