This position is for a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner at a reputable clinic based in Modesto, focused on delivering compassionate and high-quality healthcare to women in the community. This clinic values equity, inclusivity, and the overall well-being of its patients, insisting on an evidence-based and patient-centered approach to healthcare. The Nurse Practitioner will have a full-time, flexible schedule working directly in a clinical setting using the Epic EMR system. The expected patient load is around 20 to 22 patients per day, providing a balanced and manageable workload that allows for thorough care and attention to each patient.

The role demands a nurse practitioner who is both experienced and altruistic, ideally with Spanish language proficiency to better serve the local community. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with a supervising physician and support staff to provide comprehensive women’s health services, managing both acute and chronic conditions effectively. This includes conducting patient examinations, formulating and adjusting care plans, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and educating patients about their health. Job Requirements

  • Current California Nurse Practitioner license
  • Nurse Practitioner certification from either the ANCC or AANP
  • Current DEA licensure / Prescriptive Authority post-hire
  • Active CPR/BLS certification
  • Have 1-2 years of clinical experience
  • Spanish language proficiency preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and clinical staff
  • Proficient in using Epic EMR system

Job Duties

  • Complete documentation of patient encounters, funding sources, and billing according to policy
