Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or G.E.D.
  • Culinary apprenticeship or culinary school graduate preferred
  • Two or more years of experience in a high-volume hotel restaurant, casino outlet, or individual restaurant
  • Must be familiar with the specific cuisine related to wok cookery
  • Ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards in a kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or G.E.D. or culinary apprenticeship or culinary school graduate, preferred
  • Culinary background must have an emphasis on high volume, quality cuisine and sanitation skills
  • Two or more years in hotel restaurant/casino outlet or individual restaurant, pertaining to the specialized high-volume area (i.e. Coffee Shop, Buffet, Banquet, Room Service, Food Court, etc.)
  • Must be familiar with all aspects of the particular cuisine for the outlet (Wok cookery)

Job Duties

  • To prepare high quality and consistent Asian menu items
  • Assists in implementing creative menus
  • Works in close conjunction with Restaurant Chef and Master Cooks on all items pertaining to the outlet, maintaining proper par stocks, inventory control and quality of purchased goods
  • Reports any damaged or broken equipment to management as quickly as possible
  • Reports any unsafe conditions to management
  • Follows all sanitation procedures
