The Restaurant Supervisor II position is an integral part of the leadership team within a dynamic restaurant environment focused on delivering exceptional guest satisfaction and operational excellence. Working under the direction of the General Manager, this role serves to support day-to-day management and assumes full responsibility for the restaurant's operations during the absence of the General Manager. The establishment is part of a well-established dining brand committed to providing high-quality food and superior customer service in a clean and welcoming atmosphere. This vibrant restaurant culture emphasizes a guest-first approach, ensuring that every visitor leaves with a memorable dining experience.
As a Restaurant Supervisor II, you will be at the forefront of creating and maintaining a positive atmosphere for both guests and team members. Your role will involve maximizing the culture within the restaurant and motivating your team while managing operations during your shift. You will enforce all company policies, government regulations, and operational procedures to maintain compliance and safety standards. Your leadership will be pivotal in achieving the restaurant’s operational scorecard goals, including customer satisfaction indexes and quality standards, driving continuous improvements in food quality, service speed, and overall guest experience. The position requires flexibility in scheduling and entails working varied shifts throughout the week. This role demands proactive problem-solving, effective communication, and strong organizational skills to handle tasks such as inventory management, food cost control, and staff training and scheduling.
In addition to supervising front-of-house operations, the Restaurant Supervisor II plays a critical role in team development by ensuring all team members are fully trained, engaged, and compliant with company standards including dress code and conduct policies. You are expected to conduct quality self-evaluations and participate actively in management discussions to uphold the 5-star standards of quality, service, and cleanliness expected by the organization. Employee engagement and retention are also part of your responsibilities, contributing to a stable and enthusiastic workforce that embodies the core values of the company. The position is restricted to working up to 40 hours per week unless otherwise approved, highlighting a balanced work schedule while maintaining operational efficiency. This role presents an excellent opportunity for aspiring managers to develop key leadership skills in a fast-paced and rewarding environment with a reputable and growing restaurant brand.
