Job Description
This job opportunity is presented by a thriving restaurant company committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences through superior service, top-quality food, and an inviting atmosphere. The establishment is focused on creating a culture that centers around guest satisfaction and operational excellence. Operating as a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant, the company prides itself on its team-oriented environment and dedication to maintaining the highest standards in food safety, cleanliness, and customer service. The restaurant employs a clear and structured leadership system, where management roles are distinctly outlined to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and an exemplary guest experience.
The role of the Restaurant Supervisor I is a pivotal position within this well-established restaurant. This role is designed to support the General Manager and Restaurant Supervisor II in managing all daily operations and take charge in their absence. The Restaurant Supervisor I acts as a key leader on the floor, responsible for maximizing the restaurant culture and enhancing the overall guest experience during their shift. This role requires a versatile leader who can effectively enforce company policies and government regulations, ensure team compliance with standards, and communicate any changes clearly to their team.
Specific responsibilities include ensuring that customer service and operational goals consistently meet or exceed the targets indicated by various performance metrics such as the Ops Scorecard. The supervisor must uphold a guest-first culture, respond promptly to customer concerns submitted during their shift, and maintain strict adherence to cash handling protocols. Additionally, the supervisor oversees the training of new team members, maintains safety and cleanliness standards, monitors labor and food costs to drive operational efficiency, and supports hiring and retention efforts by promoting core company values.
This position demands flexibility with varying weekly shifts and a commitment to working no more than 40 hours per week unless authorized otherwise. Physical ability to lift up to 50-pound boxes is required. The supervisor is also responsible for coordinating the completion of routine cleaning, food safety logs, and repair work orders while ensuring that the restaurant remains a safe environment for all.
Working as a Restaurant Supervisor I offers a unique opportunity to grow within a vibrant culinary setting — helping the restaurant achieve its mission of satisfying every guest through commitment to quality and excellent service. Candidates for this role will enjoy being part of a team-driven culture where leadership skills, operational management, and guest relations are crucial to success. This role is essential in maintaining high standards, supporting team engagement, and ultimately facilitating a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for every customer served.
