Job Description
Wingstop is a leading fast-casual restaurant chain specializing in chicken wings and known for its vibrant flavors and engaging customer experience. Founded with a passion for quality and flavor, Wingstop has grown to become a premier brand in the food industry, boasting numerous locations nationwide. The company prides itself on a culture of teamwork, operational excellence, and a commitment to delivering fresh, hot, and flavorful food to its guests. Wingstop is trusted by many for combining a fun dining experience with a focus on high-quality standards, ensuring every customer leaves satisfied and eager to return.
This opportunity is for a Restaurant General Manager to join the Wingstop management team, often referred to as the Wing Experts. As a general manager, you will be at the forefront of driving the store’s success by leading, inspiring, and developing a team of passionate individuals. This role demands hands-on leadership, a strong focus on team culture, and keen operational and financial management skills. It offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment with a brand that values career growth and employee development through ongoing training and leadership programs.
The position offers a competitive salary based on experience and skill level, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and even pet insurance. Additional perks such as 401K contribution, a bonus program, and a flexible work schedule enhance the overall employment package. New hires will undergo a six-week training period, laying the groundwork for long-term success within the company. Furthermore, the company supports work-life balance by maintaining a 50-55 hour workweek structured over five days, with the restaurant closed on major holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
The Restaurant General Manager’s key responsibilities include overseeing daily restaurant operations, managing the restaurant’s profit and loss, controlling budgets, and ensuring a spotless environment that meets stringent quality standards. A large part of the role involves fostering a team-oriented workplace, focusing on exceptional guest experiences without the distractions of drive-thru or curbside service. This enables the team to prioritize personalized customer service and maintain high standards of food delivery and presentation.
Wingstop values leaders who are passionate about guest satisfaction, can handle the challenges of a high-volume environment, and can contribute to growth through effective staff management and operational excellence. Those who join Windstop's management team can expect not only to thrive professionally but also to enjoy a workplace where teamwork truly makes the dream work. Candidates must be prepared for certain pre-employment screenings including a criminal background check, drug testing, and a soft credit check before joining the exciting world of Wingstop management.
