Job Description
Silver Oak is a renowned winery with a legacy rooted in resilience, bold vision, and an uncompromising quest for excellence. Established over five decades ago, Silver Oak has become one of Napa Valley's most iconic producers of Cabernet Sauvignon, synonymous with approachable luxury and refined, unforgettable wines. The company’s commitment to quality spans meticulous vineyard selection in Napa and Alexander Valley, the construction of LEED Platinum Certified wineries, and a proprietary cooperage in Missouri dedicated to crafting 100% American oak barrels tailored precisely for Silver Oak's signature winemaking style. This dedication to craftsmanship and innovation positions Silver Oak as both a symbol of prestige and a celebration of true artistry in winemaking.
Beyond its exceptional wines, Silver Oak prides itself on creating extraordinary experiences that elevate life's defining moments. The winery combines its expert knowledge of wine with a passion for hospitality, aiming to offer guests not just a product but a memorable journey through taste, culture, and service. The company fosters a creative, collaborative environment where tradition meets innovation, challenging the status quo to continuously redefine what luxury hospitality means.
The role of Events Server at Silver Oak is a critical position within this vibrant and dynamic hospitality environment. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about great wine, exceptional service, and delivering unforgettable guest experiences. Unlike a traditional service role, the Events Server position is designed for energetic, detail-oriented people who take initiative, support their teammates, and are motivated to elevate the standard of hospitality. The role involves preparing event spaces, serving food and wine with precision, managing service flow from setup through breakdown, and actively contributing ideas that enhance each guest interaction.
Events Servers at Silver Oak work closely with the Events Manager and the broader events team to ensure that every event runs smoothly and guests leave with a lasting impression. This hands-on role requires excellent multitasking skills, a strong guest-centric mindset, and the ability to anticipate and adapt to guest needs intuitively. Flexibility is crucial as the role demands working varied hours, including weekends and evenings, often in fast-paced, sometimes warm event settings.
Silver Oak’s approach to hospitality is uniquely personal and thoughtful, encouraging its team to think creatively and challenge conventional service standards. The company values collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement, offering a workplace culture that fosters growth and enthusiasm. As an integral part of the events team, the Events Server will help maintain the winery’s reputation for exceptional service and vibrant guest experiences across Sonoma and Napa County.
For those excited by the prospect of redefining hospitality in a prestigious winery setting, this role offers an incredible opportunity to join a committed, passionate team. Being part of Silver Oak means being part of a story that honors tradition while embracing innovation, and a culture that celebrates excellence in every bottle and every event.
