Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of management experience in hospitality
- Proven experience in event planning and coordination
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Adept at problem-solving and grace under pressure
- Proficient with POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Passion for and knowledge of wine
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid RBS Certification
- Valid Food Handler's Certificate
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Adept at problem-solving and grace under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suite
- A passion for and knowledge of wine is highly desirable
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must hold (or be able to obtain) a valid RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certification and a Food Handler's Certificate
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by business and event needs
Job Duties
- Oversee all daily operations of the wine and beer deck, ensuring an exceptional, high-touch experience for every guest
- Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule a team of hospitality professionals, fostering a positive, knowledgeable, and service-oriented culture
- Manage inventory for wine, beer, and operational supplies, conducting regular counts and optimizing stock levels to maximize sales and minimize waste
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, ambiance, and safety, ensuring the deck and park are always event-ready
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, manage cash handling procedures, and provide accurate daily and weekly sales reports
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all event inquiries, from initial contact to post-event follow-up
- Act as a strategic liaison with local partners, including hotel concierges and event planners, to proactively market and book our event space
- Collaborate with clients to design and customize event packages, including beverage selections, layout, and coordination with outside vendors
- Manage the event calendar, create proposals and contracts, and oversee all logistical elements from setup to breakdown
- Lead the on-site execution of events, ensuring seamless delivery and exceeding client expectations
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and elevate service standards
- Ensure absolute compliance with all California Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) regulations, health codes, and company policies
- Assist in managing the operational budget, controlling labor and beverage costs, and identifying opportunities for revenue growth
- Embody the d'Ellena brand values and act as a positive leader within the company and the community
- Other duties as assigned
