Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in retail or hospitality preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • customer service orientation
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • current adult beverage certification or ability to obtain
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • basic math skills for point of sale processing
  • compliance with company safety and health protocols

Job Duties

  • Warmly greet and acknowledge guests
  • take drink and food orders
  • provide information about menu items
  • look for opportunities for additional sales
  • engage guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • create a lasting first and last impression
  • maintain wine knowledge including flavor profiles and pricing guidelines
  • process point of sale transactions quickly and efficiently
  • build guest loyalty through training materials
  • work with employees and management to ensure a great guest experience
  • maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • support other bar areas as requested such as seating customers, answering phones, stocking, cleanup, and documentation
  • respond appropriately to guest concerns
  • maintain adult beverage certification and ensure responsible alcohol service
