The Wide Format Machine Operator position at Namify plays a critical role in ensuring the high quality and timely production of banners and custom projects through the Wide Format production line. This full-time role involves operating wide format printing machines, conducting rigorous quality assurance checks, and efficiently processing all related projects. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to maintain production time standards, and capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities include verifying printed images against specifications, cutting and finishing materials precisely, and packaging products attractively for customer presentation and shipping. The operator will also maintain an organized workstation and uphold Namify's high standards for quality and safety. This position reports to the Wide Format Manager and offers a schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour. Job Requirements

  • Must have proper documentation for employment in the United States

  • Machine operator experience required
  • Must be able to read and comprehend English instructions on work orders
  • Must have good tactile ability with hands and hand eye coordination
  • Ability to use computers

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Commit to a regular full time daily shift and arrive on time
  • Quality check printed images and verify them against a specification sheet including size color and placement
  • Cut edges and ensure they are evenly produced
  • Read and follow order specifications
  • Cut items to sizes specified on orders
  • Complete edging and cornering using hand tools and electric machinery
  • Heat seal hems on banners and flexible signage using inline heat sealer
  • Package items attractively for client presentation and protection
  • Keep work station clean and organized
  • Ask supervisor questions when instructions are unclear
  • Prevent poorly made products from being shipped
  • Hold co-workers accountable to quality and speed requirements
  • Provide excellent quality and fast service to customers
  • Report safety and quality violations to supervisor
  • Follow supervisor instructions and fulfill assigned tasks
  • Assist with occasional piecework and processing jobs as needed
