The Food and Beverage (F&B) Server role at White Horse Golf Club is designed for energetic individuals who are passionate about hospitality and delivering an outstanding dining experience. The F&B Server will play a vital role in ensuring guests are greeted warmly and receive efficient and courteous service throughout their visit. This position is structured to promote teamwork, following Port Madison Enterprises’ established policies and procedures, particularly regarding health and safety, cash handling, and alcohol service. Employees in this role are expected to be knowledgeable about menu offerings, able to make appropriate food and beverage recommendations, and observe all regulatory requirements related to alcohol service, including adherence to intervention procedures.

The position demands a candidate who can handle busy and sometimes noisy dining environments while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor. The F&B Server is responsible for setting and resetting tables, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and assisting other Food and Beverage staff as needed. Additionally, the role may require participation in event setups and assistance with beverage cart service or barbecue areas on the golf course. Employees assigned to beverage cart operations must be at least 21 years old and have a TIPS Class 12 Mixologist certification, highlighting the company’s commitment to responsible alcohol service.

Job Requirements

  • 21 years or older must obtain Class 12 Mixologist certification
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Works collaboratively with F&B team members to provide services to guests
  • follows Port Madison Enterprises’ policies and procedures and health and safety standards
  • strives to uphold and promote PME’s service standards and greets guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • possesses a working knowledge of menu selections and is able to make recommendations to guests
  • understands and exercises professional judgment relative to alcohol service
  • ability to make beverage recommendations to guests
  • completes cash transactions consistent with PME’s cash handling policies
  • adheres to all required alcohol service regulations and follows the training for intervention procedures consistently
  • adheres to PME’s dress code standards
  • may assist in the set-up of events as necessary to food and beverage needs
  • may be assigned to work and assist with beverage cart service and/or barbecue area
  • beverage cart operations must be 21 years of age and hold TIPS permit Class 12 Mixologist certification
  • other duties as assigned by management
