The Food & Beverage Manager role at Westin Boston Waterfront is a dynamic and integral position responsible for delivering memorable dining experiences by leading a team dedicated to exceptional service. This position is overtime eligible, providing opportunities for additional compensation based on hours worked. As a Food & Beverage Manager, you will be the heartbeat of hospitality, charged with ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued from lounge to banquet settings. Your role involves coaching and training the team to maintain smooth operations during every shift while upholding the highest standards of grooming, safety, and certifications including Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.

The position demands a versatile manager who excels in administrative tasks such as payroll, scheduling, and reporting while maintaining sharp oversight of inventory, beverage purchasing, and promotional activities to ensure high quality and appealing food and drink presentations. Effective communication skills are critical as you will be the liaison addressing guest requests and resolving concerns promptly to maximize guest satisfaction. You will also participate in meetings, analyze operational reports, and actively engage in various tasks across the department, demonstrating resourcefulness and a positive attitude.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in hospitality
  • Relevant college degree or related experience
  • Proficiency in Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing
  • Strong financial and arithmetic skills
  • Supervisory experience preferred

  • Excellent communication skills
