Key functions of the role involve accurately entering orders into the POS system, promptly delivering food and drink orders, handling payments correctly, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The position requires the ability to assist with shift changes, opening and closing duties, and performing assigned side work. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to manage to-go orders with precision and greet guests at the curbside pickup area, ensuring excellent customer service throughout.

This role demands physical stamina as candidates must be capable of standing and walking for the entire shift, frequently reaching, bending, and stooping. Lifting capabilities of up to 50 pounds are necessary for delivering plates and clearing tables. Effective communication skills in English, including reading and writing, are essential for handling guest checks and notes. Compliance with Florida state requirements is required through completion and passing of the Responsible Vendor program and food safety certification.

Job Duties

  • Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
  • support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, etc. as needed
  • be knowledgeable regarding Food and Beverage menus and items, current food and/or drink promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions verbally and clearly
  • accurately enter orders into POS system
  • retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area, and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
  • collect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner
  • perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sidework
  • pack and verify all ToGo orders with guest
  • greet guests at the curbside pickup area
