Job Description
This opportunity is with a leading fast-food restaurant chain known for delivering quick, high-quality dining experiences with excellent customer service. The company operates numerous outlets nationally, emphasizing a clean, efficient, and friendly service environment. With a strong reputation for meeting customer expectations and maintaining industry standards, this establishment prides itself on its team culture and inclusive working atmosphere. Known for its commitment to employee development and operational excellence, the restaurant offers competitive wage ranges reflecting experience, education, location, and hours worked, including potential overtime pay.
The role in question is an entry-level position focused on customer service and food handling within a high-volume fast-food setting. Employees in this position are expected to provide service and guest courtesy that exceed customer expectations, often termed as delivering a "wow! service." The position requires attentiveness to customer needs, efficient handling of orders, and maintaining cleanliness standards to ensure customer satisfaction and operational smoothness. This full-time or part-time role offers a pay ranging between $20.00 and $26.00 per hour, with wages varying by factors such as restaurant brand, employee experience, education, geography, minimum wage laws, and hours worked.
Core responsibilities include greeting customers warmly, handling suggestions and inquiries about the menu, recording and assembling orders accurately, and managing payment transactions. Additional tasks involve assisting customers with questions or complaints, maintaining food preparation areas, and following company policies and procedures to uphold quality and safety standards. There is no supervisory responsibility for this role, making it an ideal position for individuals starting in the foodservice industry or seeking a customer-service oriented job.
Physical capabilities are essential, as the role demands standing, walking, lifting up to 20 pounds, and enduring typical fast-food kitchen conditions such as heat from grills and exposure to oils. The working environment generally has a moderate noise level and certain physical demands like reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling occasionally. The job requires individuals who can apply common sense, perform basic math operations with money and measurements, and read simple instructions effectively. While no prior experience or formal education is required, a high school diploma is preferred. Candidates must be at least 16 years old, with certain age exceptions authorized by the company’s Vice President of Operations and Human Resources.
