Beyond customer interaction, Crew Members have responsibilities that include selecting food items from storage or serving areas, assembling orders accurately on trays or in takeout bags, and delivering beverages and desserts to customers.
Additionally, Crew Members handle payment transactions, address customer complaints or questions diplomatically, and assist in food preparation by retrieving raw food stock and preparing menu items as required. Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in eating and serving areas is a key part of the role to ensure a pleasant dining environment. Crew Members strictly follow all company policies and procedures to uphold Wendy’s standards and create a consistent customer experience. Job Duties
- Greet each guest with a smile and a warm welcome
- suggestive sale and answer questions about products
- record the customer’s order
- stage customers in serpentine area to maintain a smooth customer flow
- select requested food items from serving or storage areas and assemble items on serving tray or in takeout bag
- serve cold drinks, hot beverages, and desserts
- receive payment
- assist customers with questions or complaints
- retrieve raw food stock and place at appropriate station for preparation
