The Welder III plays a vital role in supporting marine and shipboard operations through expert welding capabilities that adhere to stringent quality and safety standards. The position demands proficiency in multiple welding techniques including TIG (GTAW), Stick (SMAW), MIG (GMAW), and Flux-Cored (FCAW), with responsibilities spanning fabrication, repair, and maintenance of structural and piping components. This role requires not only technical skill but also sound judgment and an ability to perform complex tasks within high-consequence, sometimes confined or elevated environments. The successful candidate will be capable of interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, selecting appropriate materials and welding parameters, and meeting visual, dimensional, and non-destructive testing inspection requirements such as ultrasonic and radiographic methods.

The position is full-time and may require overtime work and travel up to 75% of the year, reflecting the operational demands of supporting vessels across various locations.
