Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- typically requires 2 years in customer service facing role
- life support training courses may be required dependent on department discretion
- excellent customer service, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- intermediate computer skills
- ability to work accurately in a fast paced environment
- ability to manage multiple demands and priorities
- ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Job Duties
- Manage the first and last impressions of the facility
- proactively approach, greet and acknowledge all guests
- provide quick, responsive guest service
- answer telephone and make calls to departments and outside organizations
- utilize Epic system for appointment and patient look-up and input transport requests
- communicate effectively with departments and transport companies
- partner with hospital staff
- problem-solve and manage conflict
- address patient and visitor concerns and complaints
- assist with maintaining traffic flow at facility entrances
- physically assist in transport of patients and visitors via wheelchair and escorting
- assist patients in and out of vehicles
- conduct symptom screening of patients and visitors when required
