Job Requirements

  • must be at least 16 years of age
  • must have the ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum 8th grade proficiency
  • must have a positive and energetic attitude
  • must be physically active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
  • must be able to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
  • must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assist persons after a fall
  • must be criminally cleared

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • greet residents and make them feel welcome
  • be present in the dining room, mingle with residents, and foster community connections
  • prepare tables, roll silverware, and assist with meal service preparation
  • bus tables and maintain cleanliness of dining areas
  • observe residents' eating habits and communicate concerns to supervisors and wellness team
  • assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
  • assist persons after a fall
