The Castlewood Senior Living, part of the Arrow Senior Living family, is located at 1538 N Old Castle Rd., Nixa, Missouri. They are currently seeking a Weekend Warrior Server to join their team, offering full-time employment with a competitive hourly wage of $18.00 to $19.00. The role involves working weekend shifts on a Friday through Monday schedule with mornings and afternoon shifts to provide excellent dining service to residents.

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about serving seniors and looking to engage with residents in a meaningful way that supports their wellbeing, social interaction, and nutritional needs. The Weekend Warrior Server position includes a variety of responsibilities such as greeting and hosting residents, preparing dining areas and food items, maintaining cleanliness and tidiness throughout dining spaces, and being attentive to the residents' appetite and dietary behaviors. Job Requirements

  • At least 16 years of age
  • able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop for extended periods
  • able to frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds
  • criminal background clearance
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • physically capable of assisting residents

Job Qualifications

  • At least 8th grade proficiency in reading, writing, and communication in English
  • positive and energetic attitude
  • ability to assist residents physically
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • experience in customer service or food service preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet residents and create a welcoming environment
  • mingle and engage with residents to foster connections
  • prepare tables, salads, and roll silverware for meal service
  • buss tables and maintain cleanliness in dining areas
  • communicate dietary concerns and changes to supervisors and wellness staff
  • assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and help after falls
