Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with food production and service, sanitation, and safety
- Ability to work weekends including day and evening shifts
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to assist in lifting residents over 100 pounds with help
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Must demonstrate compassion and strong interpersonal skills
- Must follow all community policies and procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of resident information
- Ability to handle stressful situations professionally
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with food production and service, sanitation, and safety
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus
- Interpersonal skills to communicate with residents and staff
- Compassion and genuine care for the elderly
- Knowledge of hazardous materials safety guidelines
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workloads

Job Duties
- Ensures adequate daily coverage provided by Health Services staff for meal service
- Assists Culinary Services Director with training related to food service policies and procedures
- Attends staff meetings as required
- Ensures resident, family and guest feedback is communicated to leadership
- Completes server pre-service and post-service work
- Assigns sections and tables to Health Services staff
- Oversees cleaning and preparation of the dining room and tables
- Resets tables, linens, and ensures condiments are available
- Ensures drink station and salad bar are properly set
- Takes meal orders and ensures excellent customer service
- Ensures drinks are filled and maintained as per requests
- Serves residents and guests ensuring preferences are met
- Manages guest reservations and prepares Private Dining Room
- Completes cleaning checklists and responsibilities
- Sets up and delivers room trays as needed
- Maintains confidentiality and protects residents' rights
- Maintains professional appearance and positive customer service
- Performs other duties as assigned
