Job Description

Ivy Park Post Acute is a reputable 150-bed post-acute care facility located at 5609 5th Ave, Pittsburgh. Our facility is dedicated to delivering high-quality care to residents who require extended medical support after hospitalization. We believe that our staff members, much like plants, require attention and effort to grow and thrive in their roles. This philosophy underpins our commitment to fostering a supportive and nurturing work environment where employees are encouraged to develop their skills and advance their careers. Our name symbolizes growth and adaptability, much like ivy, which flourishes where there is space to grow. We aim to create an inclusive space where our team members can contribute meaningfully while making a positive difference in the lives of our residents.

Our facility is currently under new management with a new Director of Nursing (DON), bringing fresh energy and leadership to enhance the quality of care we provide. Conveniently situated on a bus line, Ivy Park Post Acute is easily accessible for staff and visitors alike. Our clinical and rehabilitation teams are strong and collaborative, ensuring that residents receive comprehensive, multidisciplinary care tailored to their individual needs. We pride ourselves on being part of the PACS network, America's fastest-growing network of post-acute care facilities, dedicated to redefining healthcare through core values such as love, excellence, trust, accountability, mutual respect, and fun.

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team in a vital role focused on welcoming and screening visitors, ensuring the safety and security of our residents, and supporting administrative tasks. This position pays $15 per hour and offers a stable schedule of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every other weekend, providing an excellent work-life balance. We believe in promoting from within and offer advancement opportunities for motivated staff looking to grow their careers. If you are passionate about helping a vulnerable population and want to be part of an empowering work environment, Ivy Park Post Acute may be the perfect place for you.

As part of your day-to-day responsibilities, you will act as the gatekeeper for our Administrator and residents by welcoming and screening each visitor with a friendly and professional demeanor. Your excellent communication skills and engaging personality will help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. In addition to visitor screening, you will assist with other duties such as supporting Accounts Receivable processes under the supervision of our Business Office Manager (BOM). Maintaining compliance with state, federal, and local regulations is essential, and you will contribute to this important function by adhering to established standards and protocols.

At Ivy Park Post Acute, we highly value the educational aspirations of our staff. If you have dreams of pursuing a degree or specialty within healthcare, we encourage you to share your goals with us. We are committed to supporting the professional development and career growth of our employees. We are also proud to be an equal opportunity employer, ensuring that all qualified applicants receive consideration for employment without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, protected veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
