FAT Karting League is a pioneering motorsport organization dedicated to making kart racing accessible and enjoyable for a wide range of participants. Based in Northern California, specifically the Sacramento area, FAT Karting League operates throughout the year, offering karting events tailored to drivers of varying skill levels. Job Qualifications
- experience in motorsport event management
- strong customer service and communication skills
- mechanical experience with race cars, motorbikes, or karts
- knowledge of motorsport rules and judicial procedures
- proficiency in motorsport timekeeping systems preferably Alpha Timing
- effective leadership abilities
- experience working with children or young drivers
- problem-solving skills in technical diagnostics
- ability to work well under pressure
Job Duties
- organize and manage motorsport events
- deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive customer relations
- prepare and maintain karts including mechanical repairs and adjustments
- oversee and enforce compliance with sporting regulations
- assist with on-track incident management and kart recovery
- coordinate pit lane activities ensuring driver and kart readiness
- manage timekeeping using motorsport timing systems
- coach drivers with a focus on skill development and safety
- diagnose and resolve kart software faults
- lead and support weekend staff teams
- travel to various karting circuits during event weekends
