Job Requirements
- Meet minimum age to drive in your city
- Use an eligible 4-door vehicle to drive
- Have a valid US driver’s license
- Have at least one year of licensed driving experience (three years if under 25)
- Be at least 19 years old to deliver by car or scooter
- Have a motorized scooter under 50cc if delivering by scooter
- Be at least 18 years old with government-issued ID for bike or foot delivery
- Submit your Social Security number to pass background screening
Job Qualifications
- Valid US driver’s license
- Meet minimum age requirements for driving or delivering
- Have eligible 2-door or 4-door vehicle for deliveries or rides
- At least one year of licensed driving experience (three years if under 25)
- Ability to pass background and online screening
- Basic knowledge of local geography and traffic laws
- Good communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Provide rides to passengers in Somerville and surrounding areas
- Pickup and deliver orders from local restaurants and retailers
- Manage your own schedule with flexible hours
- Maintain a safe and clean vehicle
- Follow all local driving and delivery regulations
- Communicate effectively with customers and Uber support
- Use the Uber app to accept and complete trips or deliveries
