Job Requirements
- meet minimum age requirements to drive or deliver in New Haven
- possess a valid US driver’s license
- own or have access to an eligible vehicle matching delivery type
- have at least one year of driving experience (or three years if under 25)
- submit Social Security number to pass an online screening
- be available to work flexible hours including weekends
- maintain reliable and safe transportation mode
Job Qualifications
- valid US driver’s license
- at least one year of licensed driving experience (three years if under 25 years old)
- use of an eligible 4-door vehicle for driving roles
- ability to use a 2-door or 4-door vehicle, scooter, bike, or deliver on foot for delivery roles
- valid government-issued ID for bike or foot delivery
- submission of Social Security number for background screening
- minimum age of 19 for car and scooter delivery
- minimum age of 18 for bike or foot delivery
Job Duties
- transport riders safely to their destinations in New Haven and surrounding areas
- deliver food and packages promptly from local restaurants and stores
- maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle or mode of transport
- use the Uber app to receive ride or delivery requests and navigate routes
- provide excellent customer service to riders and recipients
- adhere strictly to traffic laws and Uber’s safety guidelines
- manage flexible work hours according to personal availability
