Job Requirements
- meet minimum age requirements (19 years old for drivers and scooter delivery, 18 years old for bike or foot delivery)
- valid US driver’s license
- eligible vehicle for respective mode of transport
- pass background check and screening
- submit Social Security number
- reliable smartphone for app usage
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- valid US driver’s license
- at least one year of licensed driving experience (three years if under 25 years old)
- own or have access to an eligible vehicle (four-door car for drivers
- two or four-door for delivery by car
- motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter delivery)
- possess a government-issued ID
- provide Social Security number for background screening
- ability to use smartphone apps
- strong communication skills
Job Duties
- transport riders to designated locations in a safe and timely manner
- deliver food and packages from local restaurants and businesses
- maintain cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle
- navigate efficiently using GPS and route apps
- communicate effectively with customers and support teams
- comply with all traffic laws and Uber policies
- manage flexible work hours according to personal schedule
