Job Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Possession of a current Food Handlers Card
- Demonstrated leadership, training, and supervision skills
- Proficient written and oral communication
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
- Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Comfort with exposure to extreme temperatures including cooking surfaces and freezers
- Availability to work indoors and outdoors as needed
- Must be criminally cleared
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Current Food Handlers Card
- Demonstrated skills in leadership, training, and supervision
- Proficient written and oral communication skills
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working near extreme temperatures
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors for events
- Criminal clearance
Job Duties
- Prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes
- Provide exceptional quality food that is attractively presented in a timely fashion
- Ensure health protocols are followed including proper hygiene and sanitary food preparation
- Maintain proper food temperatures
- Familiarize with residents and their preferences and needs
- Participate in resident orientations
- Maintain a clean and organized cooking environment
