Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work every Saturday and Sunday for at least 8 hours
  • Ability to read, speak and understand basic English
  • Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking preferred
  • Ability to secure appropriate food handler permits as required by local ordinances within two weeks of first day of employment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cooking experience in a kitchen environment preferred
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand basic English
  • Food handler permit or ability to obtain within two weeks of employment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes using broiling, grilling, frying, and sautéing methods
  • Engage in continuous improvement by contributing ideas and maintaining attentive coverage during meal hours
  • Complete all assigned opening and closing kitchen tasks including setup and shutdown
  • Keep kitchen stations fully stocked and organized, monitor food supplies and refrigeration
  • Maintain a sanitary kitchen by cleaning work areas and equipment and recording temperatures regularly
  • Build positive relationships with residents, guests, and team members to create a welcoming weekend atmosphere
  • Comply with all food safety standards and company policies
