Job Description

Eating Disorder Solutions is a specialized healthcare organization dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care for individuals recovering from eating disorders. Our approach emphasizes a holistic recovery process where meals play a vital role in supporting our clients’ physical and emotional healing. As a service provider in the healthcare sector, we focus not just on nutritional intake but also on creating a supportive and nurturing dining environment to foster recovery and wellness. We are committed to excellence in care, innovation, and the well-being of every resident in our care. Our team includes healthcare professionals, therapists, and culinary experts all working collaboratively to create a positive impact on our clients’ lives.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Weekend Cook/Chef to join our team. This role is integral to our care services as the meals you prepare directly influence the success of our clients’ healing journeys. The position is structured as a three-day workweek from Friday through Sunday, with shifts running from 7am to 7pm, providing a balanced schedule that allows for professional fulfillment and personal time. Being a Weekend Cook at Eating Disorder Solutions means more than just cooking; it means embarking on a rewarding career path where culinary expertise contributes directly to healthcare outcomes. The cook should be passionate about food safety, nutrition, and the art of meal preparation, understanding that every dish served is part of a larger therapeutic process. No prior experience specifically with eating disorders is required, as comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided. A strong sense of reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail is essential. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with an experienced dietary team to assist with menu planning, ensuring that meals are not only nutritious but also mentally and emotionally supportive through variety and presentation. Your role is critical in maintaining strict food safety standards while preparing wholesome, delicious meals that encourage recovery and wellness. Join us to make a tangible difference in a vibrant and meaningful healthcare environment dedicated to the well-being of our residents.
