Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, or related field preferred
  • Prior experience in wedding or event coordination
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
  • Willingness to travel for events and client meetings
  • Strong ethical standards and professional image
  • Proficiency in relevant software for event planning and financial tasks
  • Effective time management and multitasking abilities

  • Proven experience in event or wedding planning
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with database management and financial reconciliation
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Capacity to work independently and within a team

Job Duties

  • Create tailored RFPs for specific wedding events
  • Collaborate with team members to plan and execute successful events
  • Manage multiple projects effectively while adhering to tight schedules and deadlines
  • Demonstrate excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Exhibit resourcefulness and independence in your approach
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail, especially in financial reconciliation (processing invoices and monthly reconciliations with accounting)
  • Ensure execution aligns with specifications and deadlines
  • Accurately and promptly enter records into our database system for registration
  • Be prepared to travel and work outside of regular hours to attend events and client meetings, including weekends as necessary
  • Assist with planning for various weddings simultaneously
  • Contribute to the overall team success by identifying challenges and actively seeking improvements to processes and efficiency
