Job Requirements

  • High school degree preferred
  • Three to five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Knowledge of restaurant database software a plus
  • Knowledgeable about county regulations
  • Ability to understand and implement BSRG dining standards
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret food service industry periodicals
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to respond to the needs and requests of staff members and guests
  • Must consistently achieve high work standards with attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
  • Demonstrate initiative and make independent decisions based on sound judgment
  • Ability to pay attention to multiple details and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Maintain organization of details for booked catering events
  • Provide full coordination for the host on the day of the event
  • Support the Catering Sales Manager
  • Assist in initial stages of event inquiries
  • Arrange meetings with clients to establish relationships and organize event details
  • Organize and maintain accurate files of previous and upcoming events
  • Direct and organize team members involved in event execution
  • Assist Food and Beverage team
  • Ensure event sheets are regularly updated and forwarded to managers
  • Provide full day coordination of ceremonies, weddings, and public events including greeting hosts upon arrival
  • Perform other duties as assigned
