This Luxury Collection Hotel features 167 meticulously designed guest rooms and three vibrant food and beverage venues that offer guests a rich taste of Southern hospitality infused with worldly sophistication. Known for its authentic and warm atmosphere, Perry Lane Hotel creates memorable experiences that cater to a diverse clientele including long-weekend adventurers, business travelers, and Savannah sophisticates. The hotel prides itself on setting a welcoming tone for the entirety of each guest's stay through creative inspiration and refined service.

The Wedding Catering Sales & Event Manager role at Perry Lane Hotel is a distinguished position within this luxury establishment. The ideal candidate is warm, creative, and polished, possessing a genuine heart for service, and is dedicated to delivering excellence in every aspect of their work. This role is vital in ensuring that every wedding, social event, and corporate gathering held at the hotel is executed flawlessly and with unparalleled attention to detail. As a key member of the team, the manager acts as the primary liaison between clients and the hotel, guiding clients seamlessly from the initial inquiry and contract phase all the way through post-event follow-ups.

Emphasizing personalized service, the Wedding Catering Sales & Event Manager is responsible for translating client visions into detailed event orders and plans, working hand-in-hand with culinary teams to design custom menus that reflect the client's desires as well as uphold the hotel's culinary standards. This position demands meticulous preparation of banquet event orders and diagrams, along with leading pre-event meetings with various hotel departments to ensure alignment on service delivery, timelines, and guest priorities.

On the day of the event, the manager oversees setup, décor, vendor activities, and provides hands-on leadership by managing banquet staff and troubleshooting issues discreetly and efficiently. Maintaining an atmosphere of grace, refinement, and superior guest service is a hallmark of this role. Post-event, the manager conducts evaluations with clients and internal teams to foster continuous improvement and satisfaction. Cultivating strong relationships with preferred vendors enhances event capabilities while maximizing revenue opportunities through collaboration with the sales team. This role also requires strict adherence to hotel policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Perry Lane Hotel offers a culture of belonging, creativity, and passion through its Sage Hospitality Group affiliation, promoting an atmosphere where team members take pride in their communities and consistently raise hospitality standards. Benefits include various discounts, comprehensive medical coverage, 401K, and more, demonstrating a commitment to the wellbeing and professional growth of its employees. The Working Environment combines an office setting with occasional weather exposure for sales calls, requiring flexibility in working hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as events demand. This role is essential to the reputation of Perry Lane Hotel as a provider of extraordinary, luxurious event experiences in Savannah's competitive hospitality market. This position calls for a proactive, detail-oriented, and service-driven professional ready to elevate Perry Lane Hotel's event offerings to new heights.
