The laundry operator will be responsible for managing batches correctly, ensuring no mixing of lots, and maximizing the use of washer and dryer capacities by staging similar batches together. The role requires physically maneuvering slings, loading and unloading washers and dryers efficiently, and verifying moisture levels and temperature of the laundry items to meet quality standards.

Additionally, this position demands recording batch ticket information accurately using systems like SOFTROL and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This ensures smooth workflow, minimizes errors, and upholds safety protocols. The operator is expected to work various shifts including weekends, and may occasionally be required to work overtime to meet production schedules. Physical requirements are rigorous, involving lifting heavy slings up to 220 lbs as well as other products weighing up to 50 lbs, requiring stamina and strength.
