The role available is a full-time, non-management housekeeping position at The Ritz-Carlton Washington D.C., offering a competitive pay rate of $30.25 per hour. Your responsibilities will primarily involve operating and controlling the laundry machinery including washers, dryers, and dry-cleaning equipment in compliance with company standards. This ensures that guests receive impeccably cleaned linens, contributing directly to their comfort and satisfaction.

You will be responsible for handling various types of laundry items, properly treating stains based on fabric and stain type, maintaining accurate records of items washed, load quantities, and weights. Additionally, your duties include maintaining and cleaning the machinery like removing lint and debris after each load and monitoring chemical levels to guarantee smooth operation. The role requires physical capability including lifting and moving items up to 25 pounds, standing or walking for extended periods, and working in varying spaces including confined or elevated areas.
