The Warehouse Worker role is pivotal in Southern Glazer's operational framework, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in shipment processing and inventory management. Job Requirements

  • minimum 1 year of experience
  • experience operating forklift, pallet jack, and battery change station
  • ability to lift, push, carry, or pull up to 48 pounds frequently
  • ability to work at heights of 8 feet or greater
  • physical ability to walk, bend, reach, stand, squat, and stoop
  • willingness to work additional hours during peak seasons
  • must wear company issued safety equipment

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1 year of warehouse or similar experience
  • experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklift and pallet jack
  • ability to follow safety protocols
  • strong physical stamina
  • attention to detail

Job Duties

  • assist in receiving dock operations by loading or unloading shipments
  • mechanically use a forklift, pallet jacks, or order-picker safely
  • place and/or pull stock from storage areas
  • ensure trucks have wheels chocked before unloading
  • pick cases from bulk locations for forward pick locations
  • stock forward pick locations in a neat and orderly manner
  • restock bottle and case returns
  • pick VIA orders for salesmen and customers
  • store out of place products as directed by supervisor
  • sort pallets by size
  • handle broken cases including re-boxing good bottles
  • leave equipment clean and in good working order
  • ensure cleanliness of assigned warehouse area
  • perform all duties safely
  • wear all company issued safety equipment
  • report any equipment or building damage promptly
  • perform other assigned duties
