Located in Grand Prairie, TX, Penske Logistics is currently seeking motivated and safety-conscious Warehouse Associates to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a positive, outgoing attitude who wish to thrive in a dynamic warehouse environment. The position available is for a Checker on the second shift, beginning at 4:30 PM and continuing until the end of production. This role is integral to maintaining the quality and accuracy of shipments, verifying pallets before they are loaded onto trailers and ensuring all outbound products meet stringent quality standards.
The Checker will be compensated with a competitive wage of $19.42 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. In this role, associates are responsible for a variety of tasks including verifying product counts, checking reports and discrepancies, training new employees under the supervisor’s guidance, and reporting any damage or variances in product shipments. They will also promote a safe working environment by following all safety protocols, maintaining alertness, and using equipment appropriately. Being flexible and willing to work different shifts as needed is a key aspect of this position.

Job Requirements
- Willingness to work required schedule

Job Duties
- Verifying pallets before loaders place them on the trailers
- Checking outbound report
- Reporting any product discrepancies or variances of over or under amounts and damaged products
- Training new employees under the guidance of Warehouse Supervisor
- Escalating issues timely and directly to supervisor
- Counting, verifying, and confirming product
- Promoting a safe work environment and following instructions for safely operating equipment
- Working any shift in support of business needs
- Performing other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
