Job Requirements
- Willingness to work required schedule
- Willingness to work at the specific location
- Completion of Penske employment application
- Submission to background investigation including past employment, education, and criminal history
- Drug screening required
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and maintain a safe environment
- Accept responsibility for own safety and the safety of others
- Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100lbs
- Ability to remember and understand instructions and guidelines
- Ability to see and verbally communicate effectively
- Must be flexible and able to work any shift
- Complete pre-employment screening
- Compliance with safety-sensitive job designation
Job Qualifications
- No prior warehouse experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
- Ability to work independently
- Customer service skills
- Multi-tasking skills
- Organizational skills
- Flexible
- Excellent with numbers and time management skills
- Willingness to work overtime preferred
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Job Duties
- Verifying pallets before loaders place them on the trailers
- Checking outbound report
- Reporting any product discrepancies or variances of over or under amounts and damaged products
- Training new employees under the guidance of Warehouse Supervisor
- Escalating issues timely and directly to supervisor
- Counting, verifying, and confirming product
- Promoting a safe work environment and following instructions for safely operating equipment
- Working any shift in support of business needs
- Performing other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
