Job Duties
- Maintain a safe, sanitary work environment which conforms to all standards and regulations
- Adhere to safety standards and accident reporting procedures
- Ensure accuracy of items delivered and received for delivery
- Complete logs and forms as required
- Load and unload food and non-food items on truck in a safe and orderly manner
- Supervise and train inmates on loading procedures
- Assist as utility person in maintaining kitchen safety and sanitation
- Follow correctional facility security policies
- Properly receive and store food and food related items
- Requisition supplies and equipment to maintain stock levels
- Monitor stock levels
- Follow company policies for food handling and storage including HAACP
- Complete all required training
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lbs
- Constant standing/walking
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and warehouse mechanical equipment where applicable
- Maintain security clearance
