Job Qualifications
- minimum three years of distribution or warehouse experience
- one year of supervisory experience
- experience in a cold storage facility a plus
- experience with forklift, pallet jack, and high reach forklift
- experience with warehouse management systems
- extensive knowledge of operations and production management
- ability to work in a team environment
- dedication to providing world-class customer service
- high degree of professionalism and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to communicate at all organizational levels

Job Duties
- promote a safety culture throughout the facility
- assign warehouse personnel to specific duties daily
- instill a sense of urgency to meet customer schedules
- coach and administer corrective action as necessary
- monitor employee attendance and job performance
- develop flexibility through cross training
- ensure adequate resources to achieve food safety objectives
- train new employees on warehouse functions
- plan production schedules and resource allocation
- track and send reports to leadership
- track warehouse activities including sales and purchasing
- investigate accidents according to procedures
- assist operations or general manager as needed
- ensure food safety compliance
- work with machinery and material handling equipment
- resolve employee issues and maintain communication
- perform other assigned duties
