Lutron Electronics is a globally recognized leader in innovative lighting control and shading solutions, known for its commitment to quality, broad technological range, and excellent customer service. Established as the world leader in this industry, Lutron has consistently experienced annual growth by investing in cutting-edge technologies and expanding its global presence. The company is headquartered in the Lehigh Valley, where it operates a state-of-the-art warehousing facility near Fogelsville. This location plays a critical role in the supply chain and distribution of Lutron's products, ensuring that customers worldwide receive timely, high-quality service and support. Lutron offers a workplace culture that emphasizes people-centric and technology-driven values, fostering an environment where employees can grow professionally and personally.
The role of Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd shift (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM) is a vital position within Lutron's warehousing operations in the Lehigh Valley. This full-time supervisory role demands a hands-on leader capable of managing and coordinating the activities related to picking, packing, staging, receiving, put-away, replenishment, and inventory control within an SAP EWM-enabled warehouse environment. The supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse associates, ensuring operational excellence and the fulfillment of customer orders through accurate inventory management and timely execution of tasks. This position requires a leader who can monitor both digital systems and physical workflows to identify and resolve potential disruptions that might affect customer fill rates or delay outbound shipments.
Success in this role hinges on the ability to drive performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) such as quality, service, and cost. The Warehouse Supervisor is also expected to foster a culture of accountability within the team, support cross-departmental collaboration to maintain workflow continuity, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by using performance metrics to inform strategic decisions. Candidates for this role should be highly motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality results each day. Additionally, the role offers competitive compensation and an attractive benefits package, placing Lutron among the preferred employers in the region for professionals specializing in shipping, receiving, logistics, or warehouse management within manufacturing settings. Joining Lutron means becoming part of a team that values innovation, employee development, and customer-first solutions in a growing, high-tech global company.
