This position is part-time and non-exempt, classified as hourly with a competitive wage of $17.40 per hour. The Warehouse Runner reports directly to the Food and Beverage Manager, ensuring that all concession locations are stocked efficiently and comply with safety and quality standards. The role involves managing inventory using first in, first out (FIFO) methods to maintain product freshness at multiple concession stands. This is a physically active job that requires standing for long periods, handling product transfers both before and during events, and assisting with setup and tear-down of portable concession facilities. \n\nThe Warehouse Runner will also assist with the receiving and storage of all products, ensuring proper documentation and storage procedures are followed. Cleaning foodservice equipment such as fryers and grills falls under this role’s responsibilities, emphasizing maintaining hygiene and safe operation within the foodservice environment. Additionally, the warehouse and concession areas must be kept organized and clean, contributing to overall efficiency and safety. The individual in this role must have prior foodservice experience, demonstrating knowledge of food safety and handling practices. Reliability and open availability for flexible working hours—including nights, weekends, and holidays—are critical for accommodating event schedules. Candidates should possess basic mathematical skills, the ability to communicate clearly via radio, and the physical strength to lift items up to 50 pounds. This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities but demands teamwork and collaboration with other staff members to deliver exemplary foodservice operations during events. ASM Global offers a supportive environment with opportunities for skill development in a dynamic and fast-paced venue management setting.
