Job Description

Porter Logistics is a fast-growing third-party logistics (3PL) provider that is redefining modern warehousing and fulfillment strategies. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, the company has experienced remarkable growth over the past decade, evolving from a modest two-person operation in a 10,000-square-foot warehouse to a major player supporting over 1 million square feet across multiple facilities in the state. Porter Logistics partners with high-expectation customers who demand accuracy, transparency, and operational excellence. The company’s culture focuses on disciplined execution, a strong commitment to safety and quality, and fostering teams that take ownership and pride in their work. This tight-knit team environment is one where leaders personally know their employees, individual contributions make an immediate and visible impact, and hard work is rewarded with tangible growth opportunities.

The role of Warehouse Quality Control Associate is a pivotal position within Porter Logistics’ fulfillment operations. As a key player ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory management, the associate will oversee all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure they conform to the organization’s high standards. Accuracy in order fulfillment is critical in maintaining customer satisfaction and operational excellence, and this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse setting and is meticulous about quality and detail. This full-time, on-site position is based at the South Fulton campus, operating during the early shift from 6 am to 2 pm. Compensation ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, reflecting experience and qualifications.

The Warehouse Quality Control Associate’s responsibilities revolve around thorough inspection of outbound orders to confirm correct item counts, product specifications, absence of damages, and compliance with customer requirements. They will rigorously review and reconcile pick tickets, shipping labels, and packing lists to ensure orders are consistent and correct. Upholding quality standards is essential to minimizing shipment errors and improving overall order accuracy. This hands-on role demands a detail-oriented mindset dedicated to precision and continuous improvement, with a goal of supporting Porter Logistics’ promise of operational reliability and customer satisfaction. The Warehouse Quality Control Associate also needs strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with warehouse teams and contribute to smooth, efficient processes. This position is perfect for someone who embraces challenge and seeks a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, offering unlimited growth potential in a company that values safety, quality, and teamwork.
