This role reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The Warehouse Porter plays a crucial role in supporting the logistics and stock management of concession supplies before, during, and after events. Responsibilities include transferring and stocking food, beverages, and equipment to ensure the seamless operation of concessions throughout the venue. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Food Handlers Permit required according to Lincoln-Lancaster Health Department
  • Ability to understand and follow direction
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to complete required pre-employment food service training if applicable
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Positive attitude and neat appearance
  • English preferred as primary language but not required
  • Will be in contact with chemical cleaning agents
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire length of shift
  • Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 60 pounds and place items on high and low shelves
  • Frequently required to reach up to 6-7 feet, twist at waist, bend and squat
  • Occasional pushing and pulling to move equipment, mops and brooms
  • Frequently works in hot and damp environment
  • Ability to work both inside and outside depending on event needs

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Maintain safe working conditions and sanitary work area
  • Follow rules and regulations of Legends Global Food & Beverage
  • Interact with customers and clients in a pleasant and professional manner
  • Monitor stock levels and obtain supplies and equipment as requested by management
  • Ensure assigned areas are kept clean and orderly
  • Perform and assist with routine daily inventory of all required stock per area of responsibility
  • Ensure requisitions are delivered in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate prompt and efficient service to Bartenders, Servers, Concession Attendants and Management
  • Consistently stock and organize inventory based on first in, first out
  • Demonstrate exceptional time management skills and respond promptly to last minute requests
  • Maintain equipment standards and report any malfunctions immediately
  • Follow departmental guidelines for sanitation and safety standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
