The Warehouse Associate role is integral to Staples' supply chain operations. This role involves working various positions within the warehouse including order picking, restocking, bulk selecting, and custodial duties. The primary responsibility is to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and safety of product handling and preparation for shipment, which directly impacts customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Associates in this role will work Monday through Friday from 4:30 pm to 10:30 pm, with pay for performance incentives that allow employees to earn additional compensation by meeting productivity goals. Warehouse Associates perform duties such as picking customer orders with precision, scanning and restocking inventory, selecting and packing merchandise, and maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the facility. Flexibility is required as associates may be assigned to different roles within the warehouse depending on operational needs. The work environment involves seasonal temperature variations and requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the entire shift. This position requires an ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, effective communication skills in English, and a commitment to safety protocols.
