This particular role is for a Warehouse Associate working the night shift from 11:00pm to 5:30am, Sunday through Thursday. As a vital member of the Staples World Class Supply Chain Team, the Warehouse Associate will play an essential role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, stored, and shipped to meet customer demands. The associate may be assigned to one of six key areas within the warehouse, including Warehouse Bulk/Material Handling Equipment Operation, Warehouse Porter, Warehouse Replenishment, Warehouse Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Warehouse Returns, or Shipping. Responsibilities will include operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to move products weighing up to 100 pounds while adhering strictly to safety protocols. The role requires manual labor including unloading trucks, palletizing products, stacking customer orders, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Ability to work additional overtime hours if hired full-time
- Ability to lift, push, or pull boxes or merchandise weighing between 70 and 100 pounds by hand
- Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet
- Ability to walk and stand 100 percent of the time
- Must wear safety composite shoes
- Ability and willingness to keep work area clean
- Ability to adopt safety procedures quickly and ensure safe work practices
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations
Job Qualifications
- Minimum three months related experience in a warehouse environment or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
- Basic English language skills both verbal and written
- Ability to be certified and safely operate material handling equipment
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred
- Prior experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers preferred
Job Duties
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to move product up to 100 pounds within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties inside and outside of the facility
- Confirm accuracy of product receipts and address discrepancies and damages collaboratively
- Manually unload trucks and palletize products
- Organize, stack, and shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets
- Load trucks manually, lifting and carrying products in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace consistently
