The position of Kitchen Dishwasher Personnel at Celebrations! involves vital responsibilities that contribute directly to the daily operations of the kitchen environment. This role requires daily use of dishwashers, sinks, and crates. Candidates should expect to work under conditions where exposure to above average temperatures is prevalent, as parts of the work environment may not be air conditioned or heated. There is a considerable amount of physical labor involved including lifting heavy objects (up to approximately 70 lbs), standing, walking, bending, and transporting items of various sizes and weights. A full range of motion and manual dexterity are essential to perform this work effectively and safely. The individual must be able to follow directions precisely from supervisors and communicate any operational or safety concerns in a timely manner.
Within this role, employees will engage in cleaning and wrapping items according to company and manufacturer guidelines, restocking cleaned items, inspecting returned dishes, tagging items for further processing, and sorting dirty items as per company standards. The position also requires maintaining daily check-in logs, reporting equipment malfunctions, and safety violations to supervisors, and adhering to company policies and government safety regulations. Employees need to be adaptable as they may be asked to fill in for other positions within the kitchen to ensure the smooth operation of the business. Attendance at department and safety meetings is mandatory, alongside other duties as assigned. The work hours typically involve standard shifts that allow for eight hours of standing or walking, emphasizing the need for endurance and physical stamina. Job Duties
- clean items as specified by manufacturer and company policy
- wrap and package items per company policy
- uphold the quality control standards of the company

- notify supervisor when laundry equipment breaks

- attend department, store and safety meetings
