RJW Logistics Group is a leading company in the retail logistics industry, committed to innovation, employee success, and continuous growth. As a forward-thinking organization, RJW Logistics Group focuses on developing talent and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Recognized for its values that put people first, RJW is dedicated to creating a workplace where employees are empowered, motivated, and rewarded through various programs designed to build a prosperous future for both the company and its team members. They have recently launched an Employee Ownership Program, MyShare, which offers employees an ownership stake in the company at no personal cost, aligning employee rewards with company success and fostering a sense of belonging and commitment. This program is a testament to RJW's dedication to making every employee an integral part of their journey toward greatness.
RJW Logistics Group is currently seeking dedicated and hardworking Custodians to join their team with positions available on different shifts: the 1st Shift from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm, and the D Shift from Sunday to Wednesday, 4 pm to 2:30 am. These roles offer competitive compensation ranging from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour. Custodians at RJW play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of the office building and facilities. Their duties encompass heavy cleaning tasks such as floor maintenance, wall washing, trash removal, window cleaning, and minor repair work. This role is key to ensuring a clean and orderly environment that supports the productivity and well-being of all employees and visitors. The Custodian reports directly to the shift supervisor and performs tasks that include cleaning and polishing furniture, servicing restrooms, preparing cleaning solutions, and using machinery like floor scrubbers and industrial vacuum cleaners. Custodians may also operate equipment including forklifts and scissor lifts to move heavy furniture and supplies safely.
In addition to regular cleaning duties, Custodians have responsibilities related to maintenance and safety, such as notifying management about repairs, removing snow from entryways during winter, spraying insecticides to prevent pest infestations, and requisitioning supplies needed for cleaning tasks. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to work indoors for long periods, while also engaging in tasks that may require lifting up to 50 pounds and performing minor repairs. The role demands attention to detail, adherence to safety standards for chemical and equipment use, and good communication skills to respond effectively to management.
RJW Logistics Group offers a comprehensive benefits package to its employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) plan with a matching program; paid time off; sick days; and various types of disability and critical illness insurance. Additional benefits include flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, employee discounts, and participation in the Employee Ownership Program, which collectively support the health, financial stability, and work-life balance of its workforce. Those interested in joining RJW can expect to become part of a dynamic team that values each person’s contribution, offers opportunities for advancement, and promotes a healthy, inclusive workplace culture.
