Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • three to five years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
  • experience managing processes and process improvements
  • knowledge of safety practices and procedures
  • prior experience with lean manufacturing or 5S methodologies
  • ability to perform basic arithmetic operations
  • fluent in English with bilingual Spanish preferred

Job Qualifications

  • experience in management of processes and process improvement
  • understanding of safety practices and procedures
  • previous experience in lean manufacturing and 5S
  • basic math skills including ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers
  • fluency in English
  • bilingual in Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise a workforce of associates engaged in receiving, transporting, and stacking supplies and finished goods
  • oversee order fulfillment and shipping operations
  • maintain stock records and inventory control
  • plan, monitor, and communicate job results to management
  • coach, counsel, and recommend disciplinary actions for team members when necessary
  • maintain quality and production standards ensuring cost-effective and efficient operation
  • ensure availability of finished goods and supplies through accurate inventory and timely communication of issues
  • maintain safe and clean work environment by enforcing compliance with policies and procedures
  • establish positive communication channels with associates, supervisors, dispatchers, office manager, and plant manager
  • organize flow of external and internal trucks and trailers to optimize loading times
  • enforce housekeeping standards across the warehouse
  • ensure strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures by associates
  • manage maintenance on powered industrial trucks and maintain accurate records of such maintenance
