Job Description

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals is an esteemed global leader dedicated to the development and commercialization of high-quality generic drugs, striving to improve lives by offering cost-effective pharmaceutical solutions. Established in 2003 as the North American subsidiary of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, the company quickly rose to prominence with its first generic product launch in January 2005. Since then, Glenmark has become one of the foremost generic drug organizations in the United States, recognized for its commitment to quality, innovation, and patient care. Beyond generics, the company actively invests in research and development to expand into specialty branded and innovative products aimed at significantly improving health outcomes worldwide.

This position is a critical role within the distribution team, focused on accurate order fulfillment and rigorous adherence to regulatory standards such as cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), GDP (Good Distribution Practices), and internal company SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). The role is specifically tailored for the 2nd shift, with working hours from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, offering a stable yet dynamic work environment in a warehouse setting. The successful candidate will work with the Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS) and handle warehouse operations that maintain FDA and DEA compliance, including the proper handling of temperature-sensitive and controlled pharmaceutical substances.

As an Order Picker and Warehouse Associate at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, you'll be responsible for reviewing, scanning, and staging orders efficiently using RF scanners integrated with Manhattan WMS. Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount when verifying product lot numbers, expiry dates, and quantities to maintain pharmaceutical traceability and labeling standards. This role involves preserving cleanroom integrity and ensuring regulatory compliance at all times. Additionally, the position includes responsibilities such as preparing orders for shipment by palletizing and staging according to destination zones, participating in cycle counts and audits, reporting discrepancies, and assisting in continuous improvement initiatives.

Work within this role demands strong coordination and collaboration with Inventory Control and Quality teams to ensure that inventory records are accurate and that all goods are handled with utmost care. The role also includes housekeeping duties and maintaining the organization of distribution and dock areas. The position plays a pivotal role in supporting business productivity by mentoring and training peers in SOPs and cGMP compliance, following Glenmark's safety, health, and environmental policies, and stepping into other distribution areas as needed.

Offering a competitive salary range of $40,000 to $50,000 USD per year, Glenmark values the skills and efforts of its employees, providing a comprehensive compensation package along with numerous benefits such as paid time off, health and dental insurance, 401k with company match, onsite gym access, and employee assistance programs. Glenmark Pharmaceuticals embraces a culture of equal opportunity and diversity, maintaining an inclusive workplace committed to fair employment practices without discrimination of any kind.

This comprehensive role is ideal for individuals with experience in distribution and warehouse operations, particularly those familiar with pharmaceutical environments and regulatory compliance. This opportunity offers career growth in a well-established pharmaceutical company focused on innovation and patient care excellence.
