Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Three years' experience in a related field
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and maneuver heavy equipment
  • Ability to read and follow maps, routes, and GPS systems
  • Familiarity with local geography
  • Compliance with Department of Transportation regulations
  • Successful completion of DOT background screening and DOT physical
  • Current and valid DOT medical card with more than four months remaining or willingness to undergo DOT physical
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years old due to interstate commerce regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Three years' experience in a related field or a combination of education and experience such as certification beyond high school diploma plus five years' experience in a related field
  • Experience in warehouse operations and inventory management
  • Valid driver's license
  • Familiarity with parts delivery and shipment procedures
  • Ability to follow maps, routes, and GPS systems
  • Strong team collaboration skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely

Job Duties

  • Picking, packing, shipping, and receiving parts and packages in a warehouse setting
  • Serving as a back-up driver for the parts delivery drivers
  • Assist in all stages of parts delivery including removing parts from inventory, obtaining parts from other sources, loading delivery vehicles, and final delivery to customers
  • Loading trucks
  • Working as part of a team
  • Regularly lifting heavy objects up to fifty pounds
  • Utilizing delivery and shipment methods to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Managing all delivery related paperwork
  • Communicating with customers to ensure proper delivery
  • Assisting in preparing customer parts orders
  • Receiving and communicating customer parts returns with designated personnel
  • Participating in annual inventory of parts
  • Maintaining parts delivery truck as outlined in company vehicle policy
  • Assisting in weekly cleanup of warehouse department and yard areas
  • Performing other warehouse duties as assigned
